Analyzing the logistical systems of an Amazon Fulfillment Center, 'Fulfillment' satisfies the needs of residents and business owners in Namie, Japan after the devastating 2011 Japanese Earthquake disaster. Mimicking the patterns of Amazon within the context of expanding their empire and adapting their systems to solve problems, this project aimed to bring back the community driven away by the earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear disaster. This community within a building promotes a clean start, free of radioactivity so both old and new residents can populate this space once again. The catch... the Japanese government is constantly watching you. A secret basement lab/survallience room is always observing the health of the inhabitants of this place to study long-term radiation exposure on humans. A dystopian twist backed up by the large, concrete masses that observe the abandoned and empty fields surrounding it.
